Women’s Ministry

Women’s Ministry – Minister Dori May

The Women’s Ministry offers encouragement within the body. Our goal is to meet everyday situations, as mothers, daughters, sisters, friends, etc. standing on the Word of God, affirming the truths revealed to us, corporately, through personal study, and in the relationships that we share. We take part in activities that are designed to develop and nurture relationships, believing that as we do, we learn to reach out to our friends, family, community, and nations.

Some of these activities have included ministering to the needs of the local communnity through the marketplace of the Seed for The Nations Thift Stores,  a day trip to The Cheesecake Factory and Mall, an evening at a local pottery, a Spa Day, jewelry parties, and a Women’s retreat. Our women also gave the Caring Sister program a unique twist recently by reaching out and blessing a group of women for an entire year in the  ” Little Haiti” Florida area.

Vision

Bringing women together to equip and mature them as portals of God’s glory to the world.

Mission

To train and mature the women in the Body of Christ by equipping the whole person: Spirit, Soul, and Body.

Spiritually

Showing women how to seek God on their own, going on outreaches, being involved in the community, and being active participators in the ministry locally and abroad.

Emotionally

To be a confidant, be available when needs arise, to be a support and to let them know there is a person they can turn to that will encourage them to step up into maturity and develop into the person God has destined them to be.

Physically

Our physical bodies are as important as our spiritual bodies as they are the temples of the living God. We need to care for them in order to complete the work God has for us to accomplish in the earth.
